It's down to the final three designs in the quest for a new Jackrabbit. There is a link to the options and a survey on the SDSU homepage. The survey allows the participant to rate each option on a scale of 1-5 and make comments. The survey will be available through May 25.

I just want to keep the old mascot. Is that too much to ask? None of these look like anything I'd want people to associate with my university.

I'm all for the old one, don't change it! I've lived in Brookings for 22 years now, and I've always remember this rabbit. KEEP IT!

I don't like any of the new choices. I would not change the current logo. We need something that is unique and that does not look like a cottontail. KEEP THE OLD RABBIT!!

I was really suprised when another alum informed me that SD State was looking to change what has been the face of our great University for years. A change is ludicrous. (Continued…)

Why???
What is next, change the name - the colors, then relocate elsewhere?
Changing the logo is breaking with tradition.
You are taking away the identity that many alumni are attached to. (Continued…)
